PA612-CF is a carbon-fibre-filled polyamide 612 nylon. Makers sell it for jigs, fixtures and end-use components in automotive, aerospace and robotics, citing dimensional stability. Its HDT at 0.45 MPa is 110–175 °C, and across the layers it keeps 51 % of its flat tensile strength. On the H2C it prints without chamber heat, but needs a hardened nozzle and drying.

Among the materials
Against PA12-CF, PA612-CF is 45 % less tough in notched impact, 51 % stiffer and 31 % stronger across the layers. Against PC-CF, PA612-CF is 21 % stronger flat and 8 % stiffer, and its HDT at 0.45 MPa is 8 °C higher. Among the materials, PA612-CF has a high tensile modulus (XY), tensile strength (XY), tensile strength (Z) and price, and a low elongation at break (XY) and density: each is in the top or bottom quarter of the materials that publish it. Its notched Charpy impact and HDT at 0.45 MPa sit in the middle half.
Against its alternatives, PA612-CF has the highest tensile strength

After printing
Three products publish values measured after annealing, on schedules from 80 °C for 12 h to 100 °C for 8 h.
After printing, it is recommended to anneal the model with support structure in the oven at 80-100°C for 8-12 hours.
Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF+, maker's product page or guide, p. 1Moisture conditioning refers to allowing the print to absorb moisture. This is inevitble since nylons are hygroscopic, but you can expedite the process by keeping the print in a high humidity climate, or submerging them in water, for 48 hours. All of our test specimens were annealed at 100˚C for 16 hours, and then immerged in water at 60˚C for 48 hours. The average moisture content of specimens is 2.57%.
Polymaker Fiberon PA612-CF15, maker's product page or guide, p. 1After the printing is completed, the printed part can be annealed to further improve the strength of print part.

What makers say about printing it
Warping and shrinkage
After annealing, max. 0.4%-dimensional shrinkage could be observed in Z-axis depending on infill and layer height, no significant dimensional shrinkage in XY-axis.
Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF+, data sheet, p. 3
Moisture sensitivity
Dry PA12 CF+ at 80°C for 12 hours before printing, moisture content is crucial for final printed partquality.

Nozzle wear
Normally, the life of a brass nozzle would be approximately 9h.

Supports and removal
Please remove the support structure after annealing.
Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF+, maker's product page or guide, p. 1
Printing advice
Besides, it is recommended that the thickness of the heating block is longer 12mm.
