PA6-GF is glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide 6. Makers sell it for gear wheels, bearings and sliding elements, and for demanding industrial and automotive uses. It is semicrystalline, so it carries light load well above its glass transition: its HDT at 0.45 MPa is 186 °C. On the H2C it needs a hardened nozzle, and makers stress dry storage because it is sensitive to moisture.
Partly documented Notched Charpy impact rests on 2 products, tensile strength (Z) and price on 3 products each and tensile modulus (XY) on 4 products. Each figure is the median of the products that publish it comparably, and beside it the middle half of them; a value on a test bar no document describes as printed, or with no stated test load, is set apart, except a heat deflection of a plastic that cannot crystallise, which its glass transition sets, unless its document points to a moulded or resin bar.

Among the materials
Against PA6-CF, PA6-GF is 36 % less tough in notched impact, 35 % less expensive and 26 % stronger across the layers. Against PPA-CF, PA6-GF is 43 % less stiff and 24 % weaker flat, and its HDT at 0.45 MPa is 34 °C lower. Among the materials, PA6-GF has a high tensile modulus (XY), tensile strength (XY), tensile strength (Z), HDT at 0.45 MPa and density: each is in the top quarter of the materials that publish it. The rest of its key properties sit in the middle half.
Against its alternatives, PA6-GF has the highest tensile strength (Z) and the lowest price

Each row is a material, each column a property: the bar is the middle half of a material's products, the tick their median, the hairline their lowest to highest; the ticks above the rows are every material's median.

After printing
Three products publish values measured after annealing, on schedules from 80 °C for 12 h to 100 °C for 16 h.
Moisture conditioning refers to allowing the print to absorb moisture. This is inevitble since nylons are hygroscopic, but you can expedite the process by keeping the print in a high humidity climate, or submerging them in water, for 48 hours. All of our test specimens were annealed at 100˚C for 16 hours, and then immerged in water at 60˚C for 48 hours. The average moisture content of specimens is 2.57%.
Polymaker FIBERON PA6 GF25, maker's product page or guide, p. 1Placing the printed part in a convection oven set between 80 to 130 degrees Celsius for 5 to 12 hours can further enhance the strength and rigidity of the print. Note: The effectiveness of this process depends on the structure, size, and conditions of the printed model. Some models may warp or deform after annealing. For more details, please refer to: Work after Printing Finished on WIKI.
Bambu Lab PA6-GF, maker's product page or guide, p. 1After the printing process, it is recommended to anneal the model in the oven at 80 - 100°C for 6 hours.

Makers rarely give the concentration, temperature or duration: treat them as indications, not design data. Each product's statements are on its card.
Resin reference data (for plain PA6, where no maker of these products speaks): it has limited resistance to steam, 100 °C and to water or aqueous solutions at high temperature; it is not resistant to steam sterilization, 134 °C, over 50 cycles (DIN 58946 parts 1-5). Fillers, pigments and printing change this, so it does not stand for these products.
