PETG-ESD is an anti-static PETG copolyester. Makers sell it for electronics and semiconductor uses where electrostatic discharge matters. It is amorphous as printed, so it softens at its glass transition: its HDT at 0.45 MPa is 75 °C. On the H2C it prints at 250–260 °C, and a maker warns that nozzle temperature and print orientation strongly affect surface resistivity.
Partly documented Notched Charpy impact rests on 1 product and tensile strength (Z) and price on 2 products each. Each figure is the median of the products that publish it comparably, and beside it the middle half of them; a value on a test bar no document describes as printed, or with no stated test load, is set apart, except a heat deflection of a plastic that cannot crystallise, which its glass transition sets, unless its document points to a moulded or resin bar.

Among the materials
Against PETG-CF, PETG-ESD is 3.4 times as expensive, 46 % less stiff and 30 % weaker across the layers. Against PETG-GF, PETG-ESD is 25 % weaker across the layers, 15 % less stiff and 12 % weaker flat. Among the materials, PETG-ESD has a low tensile strength (Z), notched Charpy impact and HDT at 0.45 MPa: each is in the lowest quarter of the materials that publish it. The rest of its key properties sit in the middle half.
Against its alternatives, PETG-ESD has the highest price and the lowest tensile modulus, tensile strength (Z) and notched Charpy impact

Thermal properties
PETG-ESD is amorphous as printed, so it softens at its glass transition, typically 80 °C: its HDT is 75 °C under 0.45 MPa and 72 °C under 1.8 MPa. As published, Vicat softening is typically 86 °C.
Most PETG-ESD products deflect at 68–75 °C under 0.45 MPa

What makers say about printing it
Moisture sensitivity
As the ESD PETG filament absorbs moisture easily, it should be dried before being used.

Printing advice
Due to dispersed CNTs (Carbon Nano Tubes) in PETG ESD, we recommend to print model with higher infill density and minimal wall thickness of 1.5 mm for a better interlayer bonding quality and ESD property.

Uses, limitations and chemicals
What it is sold for
Its thermal resistance up to 80°C allows allows for the intergration of potentially warm electronics such as motherboards.
Nanovia PETG ESD, data sheet, p. 1PolyMax™ PETG-ESD offers electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety with improved toughness making it a good candidate for applications in electronics industry.
Polymaker PETG ESD, data sheet, p. 2It is an ideal filament for applications in automotive, aerospace, semiconductor industry, electronic and electrical industries.

What makers warn about
Nozzle temperature and print orientation strongly affect surface resistivity. Higher nozzle temperatures lower resistivity; validate the finished part for the intended ESD requirement.
Polymaker PETG ESD, maker's product page or guide, p. 1The ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety of PETG-ESD filament can degrade over time, depending on environmental factors like humidity, temperature, and exposure to dust or contaminants. PETG-ESD filaments contain conductive additives, which can wear off or lose effectiveness due to surface abrasion or environmental wear. Typically, the ESD-safe properties should remain intact for 1-2 years under controlled conditions, but regular testing is recommended to ensure continued ESD performance. Storing parts in a clean, dry environment can help maintain their ESD properties longer.
Polymaker PETG ESD, maker's product page or guide, p. 1
Finish and accuracy
For the ESD properties to be active, Nanovia PETG ESD parts should not be covered with paints.

Resin reference data (for plain PETG, where no maker of these products speaks): it resists deionized water. Fillers, pigments and printing change this, so it does not stand for these products.
