What the maker says (16)
- Good for
3D printing end-use parts.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Good for
Making tooling, equipment, and manufacturing aids.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Good for
AthenaX CF10 is the perfect material for 3D printing wear resistant parts.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Benefits
No enclosure, or heated chamber needed.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Benefits
This engineering filament is very easy to 3D print on open desktop machines.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Benefits
This filament is stiff and still impact resistant.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Warping and shrinkage
Reducing shrinkage / warping
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Warping and shrinkage
Increasing dimensional stability
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Warping and shrinkage
Super dimensional stability.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Surface finish
Masking layer lines with a matt surface finish in 3D printed objects
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Adhesion between layers
Its low shrinkage factor and perfect layer adhesion make AthenaX CF10 a breeze to print with.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Moisture sensitivity
PCTG is moderately hygroscopic and therefore it is recommended to pre-dry the filament at 75°C for approximately 24 hours before usage
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Nozzle wear
We recommend to use ruby nozzles or hardened steel nozzles.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Nozzle wear
In general these carbon fibers will accelerate the nozzle-wear of brass nozzles, much faster than unfilled filaments.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Nozzle wear
Please be aware that carbon fiber reinforced filaments contain a relatively high concentration of extremely hard carbon fibers, which have an abrasive nature.
FormFutura, TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AthenaX CF10p. 1 - Moisture sensitivity
For optimal print results we recommend to print AthenaX CF10 filament from a drying box to avoid that the material can accumulate humidity from the environment.
