What the maker says (10)
- Warping and shrinkage
In addition, the carbon fiber reinforcement and Warp-free™ technology enhance the size stability of the prints produced with this material.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Moisture sensitivity
Thanks to its chemical structure, this product has lower moisture sensitivity compared to PA6/66 and PA6-based materials, and better mechanical properties than PA12-based materials.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Moisture sensitivity
Fiberon™ PA12-CF10 is sensitive to moisture and should always be stored and used under dry conditions (relative humidity below 20%).
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Nozzle wear
Normally, the life of a brass nozzle would be approximately 9h.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Nozzle wear
Abrasion of the brass nozzle happens frequently when printing Fiberon™ PA12-CF10.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Nozzle wear
A wear-resistance nozzle, such as hardened steel and ruby nozzle, is highly recommended to be used with Fiberon™ PA12-CF10.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Supports and removal
Otherwise, the support structure can be permanently bonded to the model.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Supports and removal
If Fiberon™ PA12-CF10 is used as the support material for itself, please remove the support structure before excessive moisture absorption.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10p. 1 - Good for
Professional-Grade Mechanical Strength and Dimensional Stability Fiberon™ PA12-CF10 is a carbon fiber reinforced long-chain copolyamide (PA12) filament engineered for demanding industrial and engineering applications. With 10% carbon fiber content, it delivers outstanding mechanical strength, rigidity, and thermal resistance, making it ideal for parts that require durability, precision, and minimal warping.
Polymaker, FIBERON PA12 CF10 official maker product pagep. 1: exact product Description/Printing Requirements/FAQ; source text line 187 - Moisture sensitivity
Moisture conditioning refers to allowing the print to absorb moisture. This is inevitble since nylons are hygroscopic, but you can expedite the process by keeping the print in a high humidity climate, or submerging them in water, for 48 hours. All of our test specimens were annealed at 100˚C for 16 hours, and then immerged in water at 60˚C for 48 hours. The average moisture content of specimens is 2.57%.

What the maker says (11)
- Good for
Meanwhile, this material has outstanding strength to weight ratio, which makes it suitable to replace metal in the manufacturing of certain lightweight components.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 1 - Benefits
it exhibits excellent rigidity and strength, heat resistance
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 1 - Warping and shrinkage
low warpage
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 1 - Moisture sensitivity
low water absorption.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 1 - Odour and emissions
Odor / Almost odorless
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 1 - Warping and shrinkage
After annealing, max. 1.0 % dimensional shrinkage could be observed in Z-axis depending on infill and layer height, no obvious dimensional shrinkage in XY-axis.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 2 - Moisture sensitivity
Dry PA12 CF at 80°C for 12 hours before printing, moisture content is crucial for final printed part quality.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 2 - Moisture sensitivity
After drying, we recommend to store PA12 CF filament into Raise3D Filament Dry Box during the printing.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 2 - Nozzle wear
Using abrasion resistance nozzle, such as hardened steel and ruby nozzle, is highly recommended.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 2 - Supports and removal
Otherwise, the support structure could be permanently bonded to the model after moisture absorption.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 2 - Supports and removal
If PA12 CF is used as the support material for itself, please remove the support structure after annealing.
Raise3D, Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF Technical Data Sheetp. 2
Chemicals and environment (1)
- Post-processing: described in words
After printing, it is recommended to anneal the model in the oven at 80°C for 6-8 hours.

Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbon | Fillamentump. 1 - Good for
It is suitable for printing of frequently stressed parts, for example bearings, cogwheels, reinforcement parts etc.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Benefits
It is characterized not only by high strength, rigidity and high thermal or chemical resistance, but also by great processing stability and rheological properties.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Benefits
The material properties are preserved also at low temperatures.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Nozzle wear
It means that it will accelerate the nozzle-wear of brass nozzles faster than unfilled filaments.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Nozzle wear
The hardened steel nozzles are recommended.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Nozzle wear
The Nylon CF15 filament has abrasive properties.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Printing advice
Always use brim for better bed adhesion.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Printing advice
cover around printer Protection against change of ambient temperature.
Fillamentum, Nylon CF15 Carbonp. 1 - Moisture sensitivity
For Nylon materials, the drying temperature must not exceed 80 °C, otherwise, oxo-degradation of the polymer will occur.
Fillamentum, Drying of filaments before processing on 3D printerp. 1 - Moisture sensitivity
The same level of drying is specified for PLA as for Nylon, because hydrolytic degradation of the chains themselves in the presence of moisture simply occurs.
